This quarter-scale samurai armor display is distinguished by elegant omodaka lacing, arranged in triangular patterns inspired by the leaves of the auspicious arrowhead plant, also known as victory grass. Odoshi is the traditional technique of binding individual armor scales with cord or leather. Crafted by master armorer Kato Icchu through rigorous historical research, the work combines the beauty of fine craft with the substantial presence of authentic armor.
